Publication Policy

REGIONAL LENS is committed to maintaining a rigorous and transparent review process to ensure the quality, validity, and integrity of published research. Our review and publication policy is outlined below:

Manuscript Submission: Authors are invited to submit their original research articles, review articles, and other scholarly contributions related to regional studies through the journal's online submission system. Submissions should adhere to the journal's formatting and style guidelines available at the journal’s website.

Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, where they are evaluated by independent experts in the field. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are asked to provide constructive feedback on the manuscript's content, methodology, originality, and significance.

Editorial Decision: Upon completion of the peer review process, the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor will make a decision regarding the manuscript, considering the reviewers' comments and recommendations. The possible decisions include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.

Author Notification: Authors will be notified of the editorial decision, along with any required revisions or feedback from the reviewers. Authors are encouraged to address the reviewers' comments and revise their manuscripts accordingly before resubmitting for further consideration.

Publication: Accepted manuscripts will be published online on a rolling basis, following final acceptance and completion of any required revisions. Each published article will be assigned a digital object identifier (DOI) for permanent identification and citation purposes.

Open Access: REGIONAL LENS is committed to open access publishing, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription or paywall barriers. Authors retain copyright of their work, and articles are published under a Creative Commons license, allowing for broad dissemination and reuse.

Archiving and Indexing: All published articles are archived in a secure digital repository and indexed in relevant databases to maximize visibility and accessibility.

Publication Ethics: The journal adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity, as outlined in our Ethical Statement. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to uphold ethical principles and comply with best practices in scholarly publishing.

By sticking to these policies, REGIONAL LENS aims to maintain the highest standards of quality, transparency, and integrity in the publication of research in the field of regional studies. We welcome contributions from scholars worldwide and strive to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and innovation in regional research.
